Junior Professorship / Professorship | Focus on Heating, Refrigeration, Ventilation and Sanitary Engineering
Department of Environmental, Process and Energy Engineering - Smart Building Technologies degree program
Your duties
- Online and onsite teaching in German and English in the area of Smart Building
- Supervision of scientific papers, theses and student projects
- Research and publication activities
- Acquisition of research and practical projects
- Participation in quality assurance and university processes
- Active participation in the development and expansion of the Smart Building Technologies degree program
- Establishing and expanding the laboratories of the degree program
- Maintaining and expanding the network of partner companies
Your profile
- Doctorate or comparable academic qualification in the respective fields
- Advanced technical qualification/experience, ideally a technical degree
- Teaching, research or professional experience
- Expertise in the areas of heating technology, air conditioning and refrigeration technology or sanitary engineering
- International orientation, as well as strong didactic and communication skills
- High affinity for online teaching and new media and learning approaches
- Excellent German and English skills
- Enjoying interactingwith students, teaching and research
- Team player, customer-, service- and result-oriented

- Depending on your qualification and experience, we offer a junior professor a minimum annual gross salary of €48,000; for the position of a full-professor a minimum annual gross salary of €60,000.
- The awarding of a professorship is independent of the conclusion of a contract of employment and is subject to an expert procedure. Corresponding evidence in the fields of teaching, research and practice is also required.
